Alejandro Rodríguez-Ruiz studied Physics at University of Valencia, Spain, and graduated in July 2014. He later obtained an MSc degree in Medical Physics at University Complutense of Madrid in September 2015. His Master thesis was entitled "Development of a quality control for digital breast tomosynthesis". Since January 2016, he is a PhD student at the Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging group within the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, supervised by Ioannis Sechopoulos. His work focuses on the optimisation and assessment of the clinical use of digital breast tomosynthesis.
