Rianne Engels received her Bachelor degree in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in 2006 from Fontys Hogescholen Eindhoven. After graduating she worked as a radiographer at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine of the Radboudumc in Nijmegen and specialized in MRI. In 2011 she became Senior MRI radiographer on science and spectroscopy. She was responsible for obtaining a high quality standard of spectroscopy in patient care and guiding MRI related science projects. In 2013 she received her Master degree ‘Master of Science Medical Imaging in Europe’ from the London South Bank University. During and after graduating she specialized in Prostate MRI and joined the Prostate MR Reference Center of Jelle Barentsz as a Quality Coordinator. Her main goals are to provide a high quality standard on Prostate MR and to teach others to obtain and maintain a good image quality.
